Established in 2001, ULS Group are a leading commercial landscaping company creating built environments for local communities working closely with the local government, land developers and the education sector. We specialise in – Landscape, Irrigation and Maintenance.

About the role:

We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team based in Tullamarine. The role will primarily manage ongoing project objectives by planning and evaluating project activities with the site supervisors.

Key responsibilities:

  • Ensure job profitability and budget management targets are met

  • Actively build strong relationships with project key stakeholders

  • Drive weekly job planning meetings

  • Monitor and implement detailed programmes for approvals, procurement and construction

  • Provide long and short-term planning for maximum efficiency and no wasted down-time for crews.

  • Manage all specifications, common drawings and variations

  • Ensure the adherence and compliance of the OHS procedures

  • Responsible for all coordination of permits & inspections

  • Manage the contract administration of each project including progress claims

  • Procurement of materials and subcontracts

  • Ensuring compliance with building, quality, environmental and safety standards

About you:

The successful candidate must have a background in Commercial Landscaping and proven project management experience in addition to the following:

  • Read and interpret drawings & specifications

  • Knowledge with Benchmark Estimating would be of advantage

  • Experience working with Excel software package

  • Outstanding time management skills 

  • Excellent Negotiation skills, verbal and written communication skills to consult with all parties involved

  • An excellent work ethic and mindset
