Our client is a leading manufacturer, supplier, and installer of capital equipment used in material handling across Australia. Their solutions include dock levelling systems, fixed scissor lifts, goods/freight lifts, car stackers, compactors, roller doors, and more. With a reputation for quality and reliability, they partner with construction companies, builders, and end-users to deliver complex installations across a variety of industries.

The Role

Due to growth, our client is seeking an experienced National Projects Coordinator to join their team. This role is responsible for managing equipment installation projects from initial approval through to final handover. You will work closely with sales, engineering, procurement, and management teams while also liaising with builders, contractors, and clients on-site.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating projects from quote approval through to completion.
  • Reviewing and approving construction contracts for director sign-off.
  • Scheduling trades and services including transport, cranes, and subcontractors.
  • Managing project milestones and generating progress invoice claims.
  • Liaising with clients to confirm requirements, site readiness, and timelines.
  • Finalising compliance, warranty, and maintenance documentation.

This is a dynamic role that requires a blend of organisational ability, technical understanding, and strong communication skills to ensure projects are delivered smoothly and efficiently.

The Candidate

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Demonstrated project coordination experience, ideally within construction or equipment installation.
  • Understanding of and experience developing Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS)
  • Experience liaising with builders, trades, and contractors on active construction sites.
  • A good understanding of contract administration and project documentation.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence dealing with both internal stakeholders and external clients.

A background in mechanical or capital equipment projects will be highly regarded.
