Avada Group is seeking a motivated and practical HSE Advisor to support our growing Victorian operations. This role suits someone from traffic management or construction who enjoys being in the field, working with crews, and driving real safety outcomes.
This is not a desk job. You’ll spend most of your time on-site supporting frontline teams, strengthening compliance, and ensuring projects are delivered safely and efficiently.

Role Purpose
Reporting to the Group Manager – HSEQ, you will play a key role in strengthening safety performance across Victorian operations. You will work closely with site teams to manage risk, ensure compliance with legislative and client requirements, and drive practical safety improvements.
This is a hands-on role with exposure to major projects and strong career development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain a strong on-site presence through inspections, audits, and toolbox talks
Support incident reporting, investigations, and corrective actions
Deliver safety training and lead safety meetings
Coach supervisors and crews to improve safety performance
Review and maintain SWMS, TMPs, and risk documentation
Monitor HVNL / CoR compliance including fatigue and vehicle risks
Liaise with clients, regulators, and principal contractors
Support emergency preparedness and response
Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives
What You Bring
Cert IV in WHS (minimum)
White Card and current driver’s licence
Holds or is working towards TC2 / TMI2 (or higher) traffic management accreditations in Victoria
Working knowledge of traffic management legislation, VicRoads standards, AS1742, AGTTM, and regulatory compliance frameworks
2–3+ years’ HSE experience in high-risk environments
Strong understanding of WHS legislation and compliance requirements
Experience in audits, investigations, and risk management
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Practical, organised, and solutions-focused
Desirable: ICAM, CoR knowledge, Lead Auditor, Diploma/ in WHS
