Construction & Interior Fitout Project Manager – New Stores & Warehouses
Key Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end construction and interior fitout projects for new retail stores, warehouses, and commercial facilities.
Coordinate site selection, planning, design, approvals, and project execution.
Liaise with architects, designers, builders, contractors, landlords, councils, and suppliers.
Develop and manage project budgets, timelines, and procurement schedules.
Oversee store and warehouse fitouts, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Monitor construction progress, quality standards, workplace safety, and compliance requirements.
Coordinate installation of shelving, racking, refrigeration, fixtures, signage, IT infrastructure, and equipment.
Manage contractor selection, and contract administration.
Conduct site inspections and resolve construction, design, or operational issues.
Ensure compliance with building regulations, permits, and Australian standards.
Prepare project reports and provide regular updates to senior management.
Support maintenance, refurbishment, and expansion projects across existing locations.
Key Requirements:
Proven experience in construction, retail fitout, warehouse development, or project management.
Strong understanding of building regulations, permits, and construction processes.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent negotiation, contractor management, and stakeholder communication skills.
Strong budgeting, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Project Management, Building, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
