Senior Construction Coordinator

We're looking for someone with excellent client liaison skills, a keen eye for detail and an understanding of pre-site construction to join one of our favourite clients, a leading house builder of bespoke, high end homes!

About the role

This is a strategic position that will play a pivotal role in managing complex construction. As the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients, you will be guiding people through all of the pre-site construction process, including tenders, permit applications and contract administration.

What you'll be doing

• Manage a portfolio of clients and ensure that project milestones are achieved within acceptable timeframes.

• Proactively manage client expectations by providing regular, clear updates on the progress of their building journey.

• Coordinate and liaise with internal and external service providers

• Work closely with Site Supervisors to coordinate site files and inspections in preparation for construction commencement.

• Coordinate building permit applications, resolve permit checklists, and obtain building permits to achieve scheduled site starts.

• Prepare and manage Council and Developer applications in accordance with required standards and timeframes.

• Undertake ad-hoc tasks as directed by management.

What we're looking for

• Demonstrated pre-construction client liaison experience within the residential building industry.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Able to manage a portfolio of clients with competing priorities and deadlines.

• Exceptional attention to detail

• Experience liaising with both clients and external stakeholders (such as surveyors, councils, and authorities)
