Job Description The Project Manager collaborates with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to manage project plans, deliverables, financials, and compliance from technical approval through successful completion. Key Responsibilities WHS, Environment & Quality: Work with sales, product management, engineering team to finalise technical package and achieve formal approval from customer Prepare & maintain project plans including work schedules and relevant milestones - Formally submit and track documentation deliverables Plan, coordinate and implement project deliverables & build sequencing Liaise with external project personnel (customers, consultants, contractors, project managers) ensuring a high level of communication at all levels. - Represent Vertiv at all required project meetings Manage relationships with site personnel (builders, contractors, project managers etc) – Coordinate project logistics (delivery, positioning) with Vertiv Supply Chain personnel. Provide timely financial forecasting based upon customer required delivery dates. Manage progress claims Identify and mitigate risks - Ensure compliance with heavy QA & procedure requirements - Be single point of contact for all Vertiv National projects post order placementComply with all Work, Health & Safety, Environment and Quality obligationsActively promote safety in the workplace Specialist Knowledge Minimum of 10 years Project Management experience with PMP or Prince 2 certification would be an advantage. Trade or technical background with experience in Data Centre environment or Telecommunications Industry Practical Experience Project Management experience leading and delivering $100M+ in Data Centre, Construction, Mining or similar industry.Consistently meeting or exceeding targetsWorking in a multi-product / turnkey solutions environmentManagement of teams Education/Qualification Technical qualifications to electrical/electronics/mechanical certificate or diploma level Personal Attributes Proven negotiation and influencing skillsStrong computer skills – MS Office; MS Projects Able to meet deadlines and work under pressure - Excellent organizational skills Attention to detail Ability to build and mentor junior colleagues.Good lateral thinking Strong customer service ethic - Proven ability to drive teams and delivery projects within schedule, budget and to satisfaction of customers.
