Your mission will be to drive business growth for the hazardous waste business unit by ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient processing of waste materials through the Brooklyn Technical Waste facility.
Waste Receivable & Processing:
Identify incoming and outgoing wastes to determine their composition and concentration of contaminants using your analytical chemistry skills
Direct operators and other workers in the safe handling, treatment, and consolidation of incoming and outgoing wastes
Ensure all waste streams and raw materials are managed in accordance with company policies, procedures, and legislative requirements
Education: A degree in Chemistry or related scientific discipline
Analytical mindset: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Communication skills: Ability to direct and guide team members clearly and confidently
Safety-conscious: Commitment to maintaining the highest safety and compliance standards
Eager to learn: Enthusiasm for developing your technical expertise in a specialised field
Team player: Collaborative approach with the ability to work across different operational teams
