Major Media | National Large Format Retail & Automotive Clients
We design signage that gets built.
Major Media delivers national signage programs for large retail, automotive and quick service brands across Australia. We’re growing and looking for a mid-level Graphic Designer with signage experience to join our team of three other designers.
If you’ve already worked in signage and want to take on more responsibility and more scale — this could be the right move.
The Role
You’ll work alongside our Account and Production Managers to:
Produce accurate, scaled 2D signage layouts
Work with existing assets and within client brand guidelines
Prepare polished client approval and presentation documents
Composite signage onto elevations and survey photography
Review site surveys and identify missing information
Edit and clean building elevation files where required
Convert approved layouts into 1:1 production files
Set up artwork for large format print and cutting formats for vinyl and metal
You’ll be trusted to move work from concept through to production with minimal supervision.
What You Already Know
You understand that signage design is technical.
You’re comfortable:
Working in CorelDRAW (preferred)
Using Illustrator and Photoshop daily
Managing artwork across multiple scales
Building large format files correctly at 1:1
Checking raster resolution at final size
Setting up panel splits and installer overlaps
Managing CMYK and Pantone correctly
Converting fonts and flattening effects before output
Good file management and organisation
You don’t “eyeball” things — you measure them.
What We Value
Attention to detail
Strong numerical confidence (dimensions, scales etc)
Production awareness
Clear communication when something doesn’t add up
A practical mindset
Creative flair is welcome — but production accuracy is critical.
Why Join Major Media?
National client base
Large-scale, real-world projects
Established signage business with stable workflow
Collaborative team environment
If you’re ready to step into a role where your technical skill actually matters, we’d love to see your CV and portfolio — particularly examples of scaled layouts or production-ready signage work.
