About the role

As a Level 1 IT Support Technician at Urban Pineapple, you will be an integral part of our IT team, providing first-line technical support to our employees. This permanent role is suitable for someone early in their IT career who wants exposure to diverse client environments.

What you'll be doing

  1. Providing prompt and courteous assistance to users experiencing technical difficulties

  2. Diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware and software problems

  3. Installing, configuring, and maintaining computer systems and peripherals

  4. Escalating complex issues to higher-level IT support when necessary

  5. Documenting all support activities and maintaining accurate records

  6. Proactively identifying areas for improvement and suggesting solutions

  7. Collaborating with the IT team to ensure the smooth operation of clients' IT infrastructure

What we're looking for

  1. 6 months to 2 years’ experience in IT support

  2. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

  3. Excellent customer service orientation and communication skills

  4. Working knowledge of common operating systems, hardware, software applications, and MS 365 / Google Workspace

  5. Familiarity with IT support tools and remote access technologies

  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  7. Passion for technology and a desire to continuously learn and develop your skills
