Full Time Position

Mastery Schools Victoria (MSV) is seeking an exceptional Lead Teacher to join our Bundoora campus and play a pivotal leadership role in driving student success and instructional quality.

MSV operates using a rigorous Science of Learning and mastery-based model, delivering structured, explicit literacy and numeracy programs to students with diverse learning needs.

About the Role
Deliver Mastery Instruction

• Provide high-impact explicit teaching in literacy and numeracy.

• Deliver small-group and targeted interventions.

• Monitor student mastery through structured assessment frameworks.

• Maintain clear, evidence-based progression tracking.

Lead & Coach Teams

• Coach teachers and assistant teachers within a team-led classroom model.

• Facilitate peer observation cycles and structured feedback.

• Deliver professional learning grounded in cognitive science.

Support School Leadership

• Work alongside the Principal on curriculum implementation and school improvement.

• Support policy review and strategic planning.

• Represent MSV in professional partnerships, including La Trobe University placements.

About You

• Tertiary teaching qualification.

• Full or provisional Victorian Institute of Teaching registration.

• Experience in explicit instruction and mastery learning.

• Demonstrated coaching and mentoring capability.

• Strong data literacy and organisational skills.
