Cherry Crescent Preschool is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Certificate III or Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care qualified educator to join our team of professional and experienced educators. This is a Maternity Leave
- one year, part time position.
The position will be 22.5 hours over 3 days per week:
- Tuesday 8:15am
- 4:15pm, Wednesday 8:15am
- 4:15am and Thursday 8:15am
- 4:15pm.
Our stand-alone Kindergarten provides a high-quality education and care for children aged 3-5 years in a stimulating indoor and outdoor learning environments. Cherry Crescent Preschool is run by a voluntary parent Committee of Management; we offer state-funded 3
- and 4-year-old kindergarten sessions.
The successful applicant will be valued for their ability to work collaboratively with the teacher, family members and other staff to achieve positive outcomes for children of all abilities. Also contribute to kindergarten policies, philosophy and educational programs in a supportive working environment and must be able to fulfill the following essential criteria.
Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent qualification
Current First Aid Certificate
Current 'Working With Children Check' and 'Police Check'
A commitment to continuous learning, best practice and achieving high quality service delivery and a sound knowledge of the National and Victorian Early Years Frameworks
Able to build positive relationships with families, children and colleagues
Be able to work effectively in a team
Qualifications
Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent qualification
Current First Aid Certificate - Level 2 HLTAID012
Current 'Working With Children Check' and 'Police Check'
Two referees
Mandatory Reporting and other obligations for the Early Childhood Sector Certificate
