About the role

We are seeking passionate and skilled Support Workers to join our team at our residential homes in Croydon and Ringwood. Make a real difference in the lives of those we support while working in a rewarding and dynamic environment.

This role offers regular hours and the chance to deliver genuine support that enhances quality of life. 

We have two part time positions working various morning, afternoon and sleepover shifts from Monday through to Sunday. 

Pay rate is up to $35.96 per hour, depending on experience + 12% super + salary packaging.

What you will be doing

  • Provide personal care, including showering, grooming, dressing, feeding, and hydration support.
  • Offer assistance and care to individuals who are non-verbal.
  • Assist with complex bowel and urinary care.  
  • Assist with manual handling safely, including the use of hoists and other mobility equipment.
  • Prompting and administering medication to clients to ensure it is taken at the appropriate times and ensuring their medication regimen is followed.
About you
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a residential setting.
  • Compassionate, respectful, and committed to person-centered care.
  • Experienced in supporting individuals with complex care needs including bowel and urinary care.
  • Confident in manual handling and safe use of mobility equipment (i.e. ceiling hoist).
  • Flexible and adaptable to support the clients' personal preferences, privacy, and independence.
  • Available for sleepover shifts.
What you need
  • Certificate III or IV in Disability Services or equivalent
  • Hold WWCC, NDIS Screening Check, First Aid and CPR
  • Unlimited working rights in Australia
  • Fully Covid-19 vaccinated 
  • Must be able to administer medication
