Young Academics Early Learning Centre is a leading and reputable provider with more than 50 centres across New South Wales. We are currently seeking a passionate Trainee to join our vibrant Box Hill Service. About The Role As a Trainee Educator at Young Academics, you will begin your career in early childhood education while working alongside experienced educators & teachers. With your genuine passion for working with children, you will develop the skills to create meaningful learning experiences and environments that reflect best practice and align with our service philosophy. As a service, compliance and child safety remain our highest priority, and you will be expected to uphold our child-safe practices in all aspects of your role. You will collaborate with fellow educators to build strong, respectful partnerships with children, families and the wider community, fostering a supportive environment that enhances children’s wellbeing, confidence, and lifelong love of learning. This position is a full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract with off-the-floor time to complete your studies. Responsibilities Work alongside the team to provide high-quality education and care.Develop and deliver an inclusive and innovative program.Learn to create meaningful learning experiences aligned with the EYLF and our service philosophy.Maintain a safe environment by proactively managing risks and adhering to health and hygiene practices.Build respectful partnerships with children, families and the team.Communicate effectively and maintain professional, supportive relationships. About You Valid full working rights in AustraliaFull-time availability required between 6:00 am and 6:30 pm, Monday to Friday.A demonstrated interest in Early Childhood Education and CareCurrently enrolled in or interested in completing a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care with our preferred training provider.Eligible to apply or hold a valid NSW Employee Working with Children CheckCommitment to upholding a Child Safe Organisation and inclusive practices Child Safety Matters At Young Academics, we prioritise children's safety and wellbeing. You will be required to provide a minimum of two professional referees as part of the recruitment process. Young Academics conducts reference checks, will verify that you hold a valid WWCC for paid work, and confirms that you do not have any prohibition or statutory notices against you.
