We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Early Childhood Educator to join our team and support the delivery of high-quality early childhood education and care.

About the Role

This is a full-time, hands-on position working directly with children across various age groups within our early learning environment. The successful candidates will support children’s development through structured activities, supervision and daily care routines in accordance with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), National Quality Standards (NQS) and centre policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the planning and delivery of play-based learning experiences aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
  • Assist in preparing and implementing educational and recreational activities
  • Observe, document and support the assessment of children’s development and learning outcomes
  • Support children’s social, emotional and developmental needs using positive behaviour guidance strategies
  • Supervise children at all times to ensure their safety, wellbeing and engagement
  • Provide attentive care including feeding, nappy changing and supporting toileting routines where required
  • Support daily routines including meals, hygiene, rest and transitions
  • Maintain a safe, clean and organised learning environment
  • Work collaboratively with fellow educators and families to support each child’s development
  • Ensure compliance with National Quality Standards, child safety requirements and centre policies at all times

Skills and Experience

  • Diploma or higher qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care
  • Minimum 1 year post-qualification experience in a childcare or early learning setting preferred, more is advantageous
  • Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, care and professionalism

Employment Details

  • Location: Hadfield, Victoria
  • Employment type: Full-time
  • Salary range: $70,000 per to $80,000 year dependent on qualifications and experience
  • 8-hour shifts rostered across centre operating hours
  • Work location: In person

Hadfield Early Learning Centre is part of the Advance Childcare group, an established provider with over 35 years’ experience delivering quality early childhood education and care across multiple centres in Victoria.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year
