The Role

Reporting to the Marketing and Community Relations Unit Manager and the Keilor Basketball Netball Stadium Coordinator, you will support a safe, engaging environment across our creche within the leisure facilities. You will implement programs guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) while meeting the individual needs of children in a family-centered approach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the safety and well-being of children (0–9 years) including assistance with meals and personal care.
• Assist in implementing and documenting developmentally appropriate, play-based learning experiences.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming space while adhering to National Quality Standards and Child Safe Standards.
• Respond to customer enquiries and liaise with parents and facility users to promote our services.

To be considered you will have:

• Proven ability to provide play-based learning for children aged 0–9 years.
• Working knowledge of the Children’s Services Act 1996 and Victorian Child Safe Standards.
• Capability to identify hazards and manage risks to maintain a healthy environment.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and engage with families from diverse backgrounds.
• Hold and maintain current National Child Safety and state-approved Child Protection training certifications in accordance with NQF requirement.
