Education Support Officer

The Australian International Academy is seeking a dedicated Education Support Officer to join our team. This role supports teachers and students to ensure a positive and effective learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support classroom teachers in delivering learning activities and programs.

  • Work with individual students or small groups to assist with learning and engagement.

  • Assist with classroom preparation, organisation, and learning resources.

  • Support students with additional learning or behavioural needs.

  • Support students as required and assist with maintaining a safe and supportive environment.

  • Collaborate with teachers and leadership to support student progress and wellbeing.

Selection Criteria

  • Experience supporting students in a classroom environment.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Ability to work with students of varying abilities and learning needs.

  • Commitment to maintaining a respectful and supportive learning environment.

Requirements

  • Valid Working With Children Check.

  • Relevant qualifications in Education Support or a related field (preferred).
