Neuroverse Kids Pty Ltd is seeking a passionate and experienced Early Childhood Teacher to join our Early Childhood Early Intervention (ECEI) programme, supporting children aged 0–9 years with developmental delays and disabilities.
About Neuroverse Kids
The Neuroverse Kids support programme represents a unique and integrated model of early childhood intervention. Our approach brings together educational practice, allied health collaboration, and holistic developmental perspectives to provide comprehensive support for children with additional needs and their families. Through this integrated model, we support children’s development across key areas including communication, social-emotional development, cognitive learning, sensory regulation, and early learning readiness. Our approach extends beyond surface-level challenges by considering the broader factors that may influence a child’s development, including early experiences, self-regulation patterns, sensory needs, and environmental influences.By adopting a whole-of-child and family-centred framework, we aim to support sustainable developmental growth and strengthen foundational skills that enable children to participate confidently in everyday environments and early learning settings.
Our Multidisciplinary Team
Our support team is led by experienced allied health professionals with specialised expertise in supporting children on the autism spectrum and those with developmental disabilities. This includes specialist educators with training in autism studies who are skilled in supporting the learning, social-emotional wellbeing, and overall development of autistic individuals. They implement evidence-informed strategies and personalised learning plans designed to foster independence, strengthen engagement, and enhance communication across both community hub and home environments.
Working within a multidisciplinary team, the Early Childhood Teacher will play a key role in designing and delivering play-based, developmentally appropriate educational programmes that support children’s learning, participation, and developmental progress. The role involves implementing individualised learning experiences that promote communication, social-emotional development, early cognitive skills, and school readiness, while fostering inclusive learning environments for children with diverse developmental needs.
Through intentional teaching practices and collaboration with families and allied health professionals, the Early Childhood Teacher will support children to build confidence, independence, and foundational skills that enable meaningful engagement in early learning and everyday environments.
About the Role
The Early Childhood Teacher will design and implement individualised, play-based and evidence-informed educational programmes that support children to:
Reach developmental milestones
Build communication and social interaction skills
Develop confidence and independence in daily environments
Strengthen early learning and school readiness skills
The role will involve working closely with children, families, and allied health professionals to ensure that supports are coordinated and responsive to each child’s individual developmental needs.

What You Will Need to Succeed in the Role
To be successful in this role, applicants should demonstrate the following qualifications, skills, and professional attributes:
Qualifications & Registration
Completed Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Early Childhood Education or equivalent.
Current registration or eligibility for registration with the relevant professional body (e.g., Victorian Institute of Teaching – VIT, where applicable).
Demonstrated knowledge of early childhood development and inclusive education practices.
Professional Experience
Experience supporting young children with developmental delays and/or disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
Experience designing and implementing play-based, developmentally appropriate learning programmes aligned with recognised early childhood education frameworks.
Experience working collaboratively with families and multidisciplinary teams, including allied health professionals.
Additional study or background in related disciplines such as Occupational Therapy, child development, or allied health is highly regarded.
Skills & Competencies

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills when working with children, families, and professional teams.
