Mount Scopus Memorial College is a co-educational Jewish School from Early Learning to Year 12 across three campuses; St Kilda East, Caulfield South and Burwood.

The College is seeking to appoint an Education Support Officer to join the Individual Learning Team at our Primary School in St Kilda East commencing from Term 2, 2026 (13 April 2026). This is a part-time position working two days per week on Mondays and Tuesdays from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm during term time only with paid school holidays. 

The role of the Education Support Officer is to support teaching and learning and encourage learners, guided by classroom teachers. Support will take place in the classrooms and with learners in small groups and one on one - to help review, enhance, teach and consolidate skills with children. The role also includes fostering children’s independence, resilience and confidence.

Applicants:

  • should have experience in working in a similar environment and/or position and with children

  • should be genuinely interested in working with children; studies in a related field are desirable but not essential

  • must have a sound understanding of the Child Safe Standards and demonstrate a strong commitment to the safety and wellbeing of children

  • must hold a current Working with Children Check
