About the role We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team. As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing individualised care and support to our clients with physical, intellectual and psychosocial disabilities, helping them to live independently and achieve their personal goals.

What you'll be doing

  • Assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks

  • Accompanying clients to appointments, social activities, and community events

  • Providing emotional support and encouragement to help clients reach their full potential

  • Collaborating with the client, their families, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalised support plans

  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation to ensure the highest quality of care

  • Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and safety guidelines

  • Joining in on Care Plan Appointments to better understand our clients needs.

What we're looking for

✔️ Cert III or IV in Disability, Aged Care, or Community Services (or equivalent experience)

✔️ A willingness to learn, adapt, and contribute to a positive team culture

✔️ Minimum of 6 months previous experience working with people with disabilities is required

✔️ Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients

✔️ A genuine passion for making a positive difference in the lives of people with disabilities

✔️ A current driver's licence and reliable vehicle

✔️ Current First Aid & CPR Certificate

✔️ Australian citizens and permanent residents, Or holding a valid work visa are eligible to apply for this position

✔️ NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain

✔️ A valid Police check

✔️ Working with children check will be advantageous
