About the Role
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Child Care Worker to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting children’s learning, wellbeing, and daily routines while contributing to a positive and inclusive early learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support the delivery of age-appropriate educational and play-based learning activities
Assist in preparing learning materials and maintaining engaging indoor and outdoor learning environments
Supervise and care for children in a safe, supportive, and nurturing manner
Encourage children’s social, emotional, and developmental growth through interactive activities and positive engagement
Assist with daily routines including meals, rest periods, hygiene, and transitions
Observe children’s behaviour and development and report relevant observations to senior staff
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe environment in accordance with centre procedures and safety standards
Work collaboratively with educators and families to support children’s individual needs
Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF), centre policies, and relevant childcare regulations
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent qualification
At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in a childcare or early learning environment
Valid Working with Children Check
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certificates
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively within a team environment
A genuine passion for early childhood education and care
