About the role

Maroondah Education and Care operates as a long day care centre 9am-4pm Monday to Friday and is seeking passionate, professional early childhood educators to work casual hours as part of our relief pool. Your commitment to working collaboratively with a friendly team of experienced early childhood educators, and your knowledge and experience is highly sought to complement our team.

We are looking for casuals who availability and flexibility to work throughout the above hours and days. We have service closure over Christmas (December/January period)

Duties

• Working casual shifts to cover educator absences and inclusion support (Must be available and flexible to work over multiple days)
• Educating and caring for children aged 0-5 years
• Support the inclusion of all children in the program
• Meet legislative requirements including adhering to service and Council policies and procedures
• Develop and maintain warm, responsive relationships with children, educators and families

Skills and experience

• Hold an ACECQA approved Early Childhood Diploma qualification
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the Education and Care National Regulations and Early years Learning Framework.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain warm, collaborative and respectful relationships with children, families, colleagues, management and external agencies.
