Summary:

We are seeking passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educators to join our team in casual positions. The successful candidates will be responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children to learn and grow. The Early Childhood Educator will work collaboratively with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for children. You must have a passion for working with 0-5 year old children and happy to work across the entire Centre.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities and programs for young children.

  • Create a safe and welcoming environment that promotes learning and exploration.

  • Observe and assess children's development and progress and communicate with parents and caregivers.

  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as speech therapists and occupational therapists, to support children's individual needs.

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of children's progress and development.

  • Attend staff meetings and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.

What You'll Need:

  • Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education or a related field.

  • Passion for working with children across a variety of age groups.

  • Strong commitment to child safety and wellbeing.

  • Completion of the National Child Safety Training (Foundations of Child Safety)

  • Current First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certifications.

  • Working with Children Check & Mandatory Reporting.

  • Ability to provide a National Police Clearance.
