Join the ECMS Team: Diploma Educator
Are you passionate about shaping young minds and making a difference in your community?
At ECMS, we're proud to be a not-for-profit community organisation that's all about making a difference in the lives of children and families. With 76 kindergartens and early learning services across Melbourne, our team of 1100+ dedicated people work together to create joyful and enriching learning experiences with the safeguarding of children at the centre of everything we do. For us, it's more than just early learning, it's about building connections, nurturing growth, and being part of something truly meaningful in our communities.
We are seeking an enthusiastic Diploma Educator to join our team at Toun-nun Child and Family Centre.
At Toun-nun Child and Family Centre, we actively invite children, families, and the wider Officer community to share their voices and ideas; shaping our programs and environment together.
We embed sustainability in everything we do and honour Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives as part of our learning.
Our name, Toun-nun, means 'warmth' in Bunurong language, and we strive to reflect this through the welcoming, inclusive environment we create for every child and family.
The additional educator will work alongside the existing educators to support all children to participate in an inclusive, play-based program
The additional educator will help create a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment where each child's individual needs are recognised and met. This includes supporting children's engagement, participation, social interactions, routines, and access to meaningful learning experiences within the group.
This is a fixed term position, working in our 3 -5 yr old room, on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, 8:30am - 1:30pm - 15 hrs per week.
