Our Roxburgh Park campus is seeking a passionate Kindergarten Teacher to lead an engaging, play-based kindergarten program and support children to thrive as confident, curious learners.
The RoleAs a Kindergarten Teacher, you will lead the development and implementation of engaging learning experiences that support children's individual strengths, interests, and developmental needs. You will work closely with educators, families, and centre leadership to create a positive and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, implement, and evaluate a high-quality educational program aligned with the approved learning frameworks.
Create engaging learning environments that encourage curiosity, creativity, and exploration.
Observe, assess, and document children's learning and development.
Build strong and respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
Support children's learning through intentional teaching and meaningful interactions.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and centre goals.
Maintain compliance with the National Quality Framework and relevant legislation.
Collaborate with educators and centre leadership to promote positive outcomes for children.
Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
VIT registration
Strong understanding of EYLF, NQS, and kindergarten programs
Passion for play-based learning and intentional teaching
Collaborative, reflective, and organised approach
Excellent communication skills
Holds or willing to obtain WWCC, First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis, Mandatory Reporting, and Police Check
