As an Area Manager at our Western Suburbs locations you will oversee a portfolio of OSHC programs in Melbourne's western region. Your focus will be on building well-supported teams, maintaining high compliance standards that ensure children's safety, and setting our educators up for success! Based out of our Brunswick West office, You will work alongside a team of passionate Area Managers, regularly travelling throughout your region to mentor and support your teams while collaborating closely with the State Operations Manager. This is an exciting permanent opportunity to make a meaningful impact across multiple services

You will:

• Mentor, train, and inspire a team of Coordinators and Educators to deliver unforgettable outside school hours care
• Take on Nominated Supervisor and Educational Leader duties like a pro, keeping risk management and safety at the absolute forefront
• Build positive, collaborative relationships with key partners, including local schools, VECRA, and KU Services
• Identify, interview, and onboard top-tier talent to keep your services thriving
• Collaborate with the State Operations Manager on exciting projects that elevate the child experience and lead your teams through the Assessment and Rating process
• Promote a culture where we are always learning, growing, and celebrating success together

We are looking for someone who:

• Is an enthusiastic, organised, and confident leader who loves the OSHC environment
• Has exceptional communication skills and builds brilliant relationships with staff, families, schools, and communities
• Thrives in a dynamic, busy environment and shows brilliant initiative
• Has a deep knowledge of OSHC regulations and National Quality Standards

You have:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Education (Primary), or an ACECQA-recognized related field
• 2+ years of experience as an Area Manager or Regional Manager in OSHC
• Proven experience as a Nominated Supervisor, confidently managing incidents and quality compliance
• A valid Working with Children Check
• Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma training (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong knowledge of Child Safe Standards and a zero-tolerance approach to abuse
