Bus Driver – School Routes | East Preston Islamic College Casual | School Terms

East Preston Islamic College (EPIC) is a values-driven independent Islamic school in Melbourne's north. We're looking for dedicated Bus Drivers to safely transport our students each school day.

About the Role:

You'll report to our Bus Manager and be responsible for:

• Safe operation of the school bus along designated routes and schedules

• Daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

• Ensuring student safety during boarding, transit, and disembarking

• Monitoring student behaviour and reporting concerns to administration

• Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and completing accurate logs

• Promptly reporting any mechanical issues or incidents to the Bus Manager

What You'll Need:

• Valid Victorian Driver's Licence (Heavy Vehicle/MR or above)

• Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) — employment category

• Clean driving record with demonstrated passenger vehicle experience

• Strong commitment to student safety and wellbeing

• Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working independently

• Good communication skills with students, staff, and parents

Desirable:

• Previous school or community bus driving experience

• First Aid / CPR certification

• Familiarity with East Preston and surrounding suburbs
