As we continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced and passionate Bilingual Mathematics Teacher & Teacher Trainer to join our growing academic team.

About the Role

This is a senior teaching position combining classroom teaching, teacher coaching, curriculum implementation, and academic leadership.

The successful candidate will deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons to primary and secondary students while supporting the development and training of teaching staff across our centres.

This role is ideal for experienced teachers who are passionate about education, mentoring others, and contributing to the growth of a high-performing academic team.

Key Responsibilities

Teaching & Student Development

  • Deliver engaging and effective Mathematics lessons to Primary and Secondary students.

  • Differentiate instruction to support students of varying abilities.

  • Monitor student progress and provide academic feedback.

  • Prepare students for school assessments, scholarship examinations, selective entry programs, and advanced learning pathways where applicable.

  • Foster confidence, critical thinking, and independent learning skills.

Teacher Training & Academic Leadership

  • Conduct teacher observations and provide coaching feedback.

  • Support onboarding and professional development of new teachers.

  • Deliver internal teacher training workshops and academic development sessions.

  • Ensure consistent teaching quality across programs and centres.

  • Assist in maintaining and improving teaching standards and academic outcomes.

Curriculum & Program Development

  • Implement and continuously improve Spark Education curriculum frameworks.

  • Develop teaching resources, lesson plans, assessments, and extension materials.

  • Contribute to curriculum innovation and academic program design.

  • Work closely with the Academic Director and management team on educational initiatives.

Parent & Stakeholder Communication

  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and academic goals.

  • Participate in parent-teacher meetings and educational events.

  • Provide professional academic advice and learning recommendations.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Education, Mathematics, Science, or a related field.

  • Recognised Australian teaching qualification.

  • Current VIT Registration (or eligibility to obtain registration).

  • Minimum 3 years of teaching experience.

  • Strong Mathematics teaching background across Primary and/or Secondary levels.

  • Fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese.

  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

  • Passion for mentoring and developing teachers.

Highly Regarded

  • Experience teaching both Primary and Secondary Mathematics.

  • Previous experience as a Head Teacher, Leading Teacher, Academic Coordinator, Curriculum Specialist, or Teacher Trainer.

  • Familiarity with Singapore Mathematics, advanced problem-solving programs, or enrichment education.

  • Experience preparing students for scholarship, selective school, accelerated learning, or competition pathways.

  • Experience teaching younger learners (Prep-Year 2) and adapting lessons for different developmental stages.

  • Experience working in bilingual or multicultural educational environments.

Other Requirements
