What’s the opportunity?

Y Victoria is currently seeking a Permanent Educator for our Before and After School Care and School Holiday Programs within Barton Primary School - Cranbourne West. This is a permanent part-time position (31 hours per week) with working hours from 6:30am - 9am and 2:30pm - 6:30pm. School holiday working hours across 7:00am to 6:00pm.

The hourly rate for the position is $29 p/hour onwards (depending on your qualification & experience) + ECEC retention payment + 12% super.

As an Outside of School Hours Care (OSHC) Educator you will be dedicated to empowering young children and have a passion for providing engaging experiences. Supported by the OSHC team and an experienced Coordinator, you will enhance positive relationships with children, families and the school community while facilitating our Before and After School Care sessions and School Holiday programs.

What will I need?

  • You’ll need to have either completed or be working towards an ACECQA-approved qualification (see the link below) – or willing to enrol in a course
  • You’ll need to have, or be willing to obtain a First Aid in an Education & Care Setting certificate (or equivalent)
  • You’ll need to have, or be willing to obtain a valid Victorian Working with Children’s Check – employee check
