The Company
  
Based in Laverton North, our client is a leading manufacturer of custom-designed electrical control power distribution equipment that supplies the defence, medical and mining sectors. Working a 9-day fortnight and monthly BBQ's or lunch provided. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fantastic organisation in a modern, clean, state-of-the-art facility that is committed to providing a safe and supportive working environment and continued ongoing learning and development within the company. 
  
Responsibilities and duties will include, but are not limited to:
  • Control panel construction
  • Assembling of products according to design
  • Assembling and testing of switchgear and panel boards 
  • Ability to understand electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and engineering drawings

The successful candidate will require the following attributes:
  • Electrical trade qualification 
  • Strong understanding of wiring diagrams and engineering drawings
  • Assembling and testing of electrical products
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role
  • Ability to work unsupervised 
  • Demonstrate a positive, proactive and motivated attitude to work
  • Physically fit with the ability to work effectively in a multi-skilled environment

Hours & rates:

Day shift hours: 7.00am - 3.56pm, 9-day fortnight
Rate: $43.77 per hour + overtime + super + discretionary annual bonus
