Salary starting at: $85,000 plus Superannuation

We are a Victorian based roofing company looking for civil engineers to supervise and manage our roof plumbing projects across Victoria, including regional areas. The role consists of daily on-site management of tradesmen with various experiences, material orders and understandings of architectural drawings and specifications.

To apply for this role, you will need to perform the following tasks:

• Plan, design and organise the stormwater systems and drainage (hydraulic engineering).

• Analysis structural systems for both static and dynamic loads, including for the purposes of roof safety anchor points and perimeter guard rail.

• Determining construction methods, materials, quality standards in roof plumbing, interpreting specifications, drawings, plans construction methods and procedures.

• Management of roof plumbing workflows, including directing of labour, construction materials, plant and equipment and establishing detailed schedules and programs.

• Monitoring changes to designs, assessing effects on costs and measuring, valuing and negotiating variations to designs.

• Ensuring the design of structures so they do not collapse, bend, twist or vibrate in undesirable ways when loading and installing roofs.

You will need the following qualifications, skills and experience as a minimum:

• Understanding of Building and Safety Standard Codes in Victoria (AS1562, AS3500, AS1657)

• Bachelor of Civil Engineering (or equivalent degree)

• Experience of at least 3 years in relevant work

• Driver’s licence

• Strong communication skills and problem-solving skills

• Strong client engagement, customer focus and business analysis skills
