The Maintenance Grounds Officer (MGO) assists the Head of Academic Frameworks & School Infrastructure to ensure the College buildings and grounds are clean, well maintained and safe. The MGO must have excellent time management, organisational skills and an understanding of the child safety requirements of a school. The MSO is responsible for ensuring the school premises are safe and well maintained, and that the grounds and surrounds are clean and well kept.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, keen eye for detail, a genuine passion for maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for our students and staff.
The Position
Full Time - 7:00am to 3:10pm, Mon - Fri
Commences - Immediate Start
Ongoing with six months probation

Facilitate the maintenance of all school facilities and ensure that they comply with occupational health and safety requirements.
Disarm and open the school each day.
Complete all grounds and maintenance tasks.
Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with staff, students, and external contractors.
Skills
Knowledge and skill in operating small machinery eg powered hand tools, lawn mower, etc.
Valid and current Drivers Licence.
Ability to problem solve and time management essential
Must have Working With Children's Check
