Turosi Pty Ltd is a privately owned Company with facilities in Victoria, QLD and NSW, providing a full range of raw and cooked food solutions across a range of proteins to the retail and food service sectors. We are one of the largest poultry processors in Australia.

We are looking to recruit Process Workers. This is a weekly paid role which is based at our Broadmeadows further processing facility in Victoria. We have day shift and afternoon shift roles available. 

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Preparing packaging materials and labels.

• Sorting and grading products. 

• Moving product, ingredients and other materials between and within work areas.

• Loading and unloading cartons and crates onto and off pallets and conveyors.

• Trimming and de-boning poultry for a variety of different cuts.

• Operating, adjusting, monitoring and loading poultry onto processing machinery and conveyors.

• Further processing poultry by preparing additional ingredients and using a range of value adding equipment and processes.

• Maintaining high food safety, quality

• Ensure that Good Manufacturing Practices are followed at all times. 

• Ensure that your work areas is kept in a clean and tidy condition.

• Abide by all safety instruction and signage.

• Adhere to all Company policies, including Quality Assurance, safety procedures and Company rules and regulations.

Performing any other necessary support duties for the efficient, hygienic and safe operation of the production plant.

Skills & Experience:

• Be able to reach minimum standard required

• Understand and adhere to customer specifications. 

• Good understanding of quality requirements.

• Maintain acceptable yields levels.

• Be able to recognize and reject defective products.

• Maintain all personal equipment.
