The Role: 

 We are seeking an experienced Structural Drafter to join our growing modular construction team. This role suits a capable drafter with strong Revit skills who is looking to take the next step in their career and play a key role in delivering high-quality structural documentation.

You will work closely with engineers, project managers, fabricators, and offshore drafting resources to deliver accurate, buildable documentation in a fast-paced modular construction environment.

This position offers an opportunity to develop greater technical responsibility as the business continues to expand.

Key Responsibilities

   •     Produce structural models and documentation using Revit (advanced proficiency required)

   •     Prepare accurate GA drawings, detailed documentation, and fabrication-ready information for structural systems

   •     Coordinate structural models with architectural and services models

   •     Liaise with fabricators and manufacturing teams to ensure drawings are practical and buildable

   •     Review and coordinate work produced by overseas drafting resources

   •     Identify coordination issues and constructability risks early in the modelling process

   •     Assist in maintaining and improving Revit standards, templates, and workflows

  •     Deliver documentation to tight project timelines while maintaining a high level of accuracy

Skills & Experience

  • Strong proficiency in Revit for structural modelling and documentation

  • Solid understanding of steel structures and/or light gauge framing systems

  • Experience producing detailed documentation suitable for fabrication or construction

  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced production environment

  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills

  •  Knowledge of Tekla Structures would be advantageous
