Early start and early finish YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY STARTS HERE Skillinvest has an opportunity for a motivated candidate to undertake an Automotive Electrical Apprenticeship with Volgren Australia.

Our apprentice will receive ongoing mentoring and support from a dedicated Skillinvest Consultant whilst undertaking a 'Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology'. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING Setting out and running electrical and communication cable on new bus chassis

Fitting, testing and commissioning third party systems Fitting out all electrical and data controls on new buses interiors Diagnosis and repair electrical problems etc.

IS THIS YOU? Enjoy physical hands-on work Strong attention to detail

Willing to commit to work and study Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment, as well as independently Must be willing to complete a Pre Employment Medical Check

ABOUT YOUR HOST Volgren are Australia's largest bus body builder with manufacturing operations and aftersales support in New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland and Western Australia.

The company built its first bus in 1979 with the promise of building a more reliable, more comfortable, longer lasting vehicle with lower operating costs than the ones available at the time. Today, Volgren designs and manufactures public transport buses of all types, across multiple technologies including zero-emission vehicles. Their bus bodies are designed, manufactured and assembled in Australia and they are incredibly proud to retain almost 90 percent proportion of local production.
