Dogdayz is seeking casual Animal Care/Maintenance staff across our THREE SITES IN MELBOURNE'S SOUTH-EAST. These are hands-on, physically active roles for committed, enthusiastic and mature-minded people. 'Must Love Dogs!'

About Dogdayz

Dogdayz is the leading provider of premium dog boarding services across Melbourne. We focus on the wellbeing, enjoyment and social development of each individual dog in an engaging, interactive environment. Our staff are committed dog-lovers working to high standards of care in a mutually supportive team.

The Role
  • Casual positions (25–38 hours per week).

  • Working hours typically 7:30am – 4:30/5:00pm. 1-hour lunch break.

  • MUST include availability through school holidays and at least one day weekends.

$33–$36 per hour + superannuation + penalty rates

Key Responsibilities
  • Daily care of dogs including feeding, exercising, cleaning and supervision.

  • Conducting hands-on daily health checks and welbeing reports

  • Responsible handling of dogs of all breeds and temperaments

  • Cleaning, repairs, maintenance of buildings and grounds

  • Customer service and client interaction

  • Transporting dogs when required

About You

You will ideally have one or more of the following:

  • Animal handling experience (professional or personal)

  • Animal industry qualifications

  • Maintenance skills or worksite/outdoor experience

  • Customer service skills

You must also demonstrate:

  • Confidence in handling dogs

  • A genuine commitment to animal welfare

  • Reliability and a strong work ethic

  • AVAILABILITY to work MINIMUM 3 days and up to 5 days per week ongoing, including weekends and school holiday periods
