Yarra Valley Transport is currently looking for a reliable and experienced Automotive Technician to join our team in Bayswater.

We are seeking someone who is motivated, hardworking, and able to maintain our fleet of vans and light vehicles to a high standard while ensuring minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out servicing, repairs, and maintenance on company vans and light vehicles

• Respond to roadside breakdowns and emergency repairs when required

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults

• Order and manage spare parts, Tools and workshop supplies

• Perform preventative maintenance and vehicle inspections daily

• Replace tyres, brakes, suspension, batteries, and other components

• Maintain accurate service and repair records

• Ensure vehicles meet safety and roadworthy standards

• Work closely with drivers and management regarding vehicle issues

• Keep the workshop clean and organised

• Ensure minimal vehicle breakdown time to maintain transport operations efficiently.

Requirements:

• Completion of Certificate III and IV in Light Vehicle Automotive qualifications is required.

• Minimum 1 year experience as a qualified light vehicle technician.

• Current Manual Driver's License.

• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Good attention to detail and time management

• Reliable and punctual attitude

• Ability to work Monday to Friday.

What's in for you:

• $75,000 - $80,000 annually (Excluding Superannuation)
