The Job Company Pty Ltd on behalf of TECHNO ENGINEERING PTY LTD T/A TECHNO ENGINEERING (ABN 41 674 706 935) is seeking skilled and qualified DevOps Engineer to join our team in Ravenhall, 3023. 

The ideal candidates should have hands on experience in all the general duties and responsibilities of a skilled devOps engineer 

1 Position: DevOps Engineer 

Salary: $82,000 plus superannuation 

Hours: 38 per week 

Employment Type: Full-time 

Location: Ravenhall, VIC

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Design, implement and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to support efficient software delivery.
  • Develop, deploy and manage cloud-based infrastructure and services across enterprise environments.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management and deployment processes using DevOps tools and scripting technologies.
  • Monitor, maintain and optimise system performance, availability, scalability and reliability of production environments.
  • Collaborate with software developers, system administrators and stakeholders to streamline development and operational processes.
  • Implement and manage containerisation and orchestration platforms, including Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Establish and maintain monitoring, logging and alerting solutions to identify and resolve system issues proactively.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, deployment and application-related incidents to minimise service disruption.
  • Implement security controls, backup strategies and compliance measures to protect systems and data.
  • Evaluate and recommend improvements to infrastructure, automation frameworks and operational procedures to support business objectives.

Qualification & Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 2 year(s) of experience in the relevant industry.
  • Tertiary education in the relevant field
  • Detailed understanding of the occupation including hazard management.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
