About the Role

We are seeking a Maintenance Manager (Internal title: Group Maintenance Leader) to join our Global Supply Chain team in Australia!

The Group Maintenance Leader will lead the Tullamarine maintenance team (fitters and electricians) to deliver safe, reliable and efficient operation of all site assets.

 As a key member of the maintenance team, this role is accountable for ensuring all machineries, equipment and facilities are maintained to meet safety, reliability and performance targets, while also managing site capital and improvement projects to enhance operational effectiveness, reliability and cost efficiency.

What You'll Do

  • Implement and continuously improve the site maintenance plans to ensure asset reliability and availability.

  • Drive the implementation and improvement of Lean maintenance processes, including OEE, MTBF and MTTR performance.

  • Lead and manage preventative and corrective maintenance programs to minimize unplanned downtime.

  • Ensure maintenance standards, procedures and systems are established, maintained and consistently followed.

  • Manage and execute capital projects aligned to safety, reliability and performance improvement objectives.

  • Own and manage Site Capital and Improvement Projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget and to agreed outcomes.

  • Monitor and manage maintenance budgets and expenditure in line with business targets.

  • Partner closely with Production, Engineering, Quality and Supply Chain to support world‑class manufacturing outcomes.

Skills, Experience & Attributes

  • Minimum 4-5 years hands-on experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing environment.

  • Trade-related qualification or certificate (Mechanical, Electrical, Fitter & Turner or equivalent)

  • Demonstrated experience leading or coordinating maintenance activities, including preventative and corrective maintenance.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities on an ongoing basis

  • Ability to communicate clearly at all levels of the organization

Qualifications & Technical Knowledge

  • Six Sigma Training – Green or Black belt etc

  • Statistical Process Control (SPC)

  • Failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA)

  • Root cause analysis (RCA)
