Overview

As a Hydraulic Engineer with Danfoss Power Solutions, you will be a key technical partner to our sales team, playing a crucial role in securing new projects. Your expertise will be vital in everything from designing custom hydraulic solutions and software programming to hands-on component repair and product support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support projects from concept to completion, including designing and drafting hydraulic systems to meet customer specifications, conducting performance tests, and assisting with equipment installation.

  • Manage and contribute to projects involving the integration of electro-hydraulic systems and components.

  • Develop and implement controller programming for custom hydraulic solutions.

  • Serve as a key technical expert and partner to the sales team, providing critical support to secure new business.

  • Collaborate closely with the hydraulic workshop, offering technical guidance to the assembly and manufacturing teams to ensure quality and efficiency.

  • Contribute to departmental goals and initiatives as needed.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics and Robotics Engineering or equivalent engineering discipline, with demonstrated academic achievement.

  • Application experience with Danfoss hydraulics, power electronics and electric machine systems.

  • An understanding of hydraulic components and/or software control solutions.

  • Ability to write software for a complete electro-hydraulic turn-key solution.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Competent using SAP/ETO module, including experience with SAP P01 PLM for engineering change management, BOM updates, documentation workflows, and lifecycle traceability.

  • Experience developing configuration tools and standardizing engineering workflows to improve design accuracy and reduce turnaround time across hydraulic system proposals and builds.

  • Proficiency in engineering design software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or NX, combined with programming capability (PLC, C++, or Python) for control system applications.

  • Ability to produce comprehensive technical manuals, system documentation, and client-facing reports to support equipment installation, operation, and troubleshooting.
