About The Role

Join our team within as an Electrical Fitter in our Laverton North Service Centre.

  • Repair and maintain LV & HV electrical rotating machinery.
  • Assemble and disassemble electrical rotating equipment.
  • Conduct static and dynamic tests on electrical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Rewind electric motors and generators.
  • Perform balancing on motors to keep things running smoothly.
  • Keep the goods flowing with timely ordering when required.
  • Take direction from your Supervisor to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
  • When required, attend onsite to conduct effective repairs of electrical rotating equipment.

To Succeed In This Role, You Will Need

  • CERT III in Electrotechnology or above / equivalent.
  • Experience in repairing and rewinding DC motors, medium to High Voltage electrical motors, and generators.
  • Excellent time management skills to keep things on track.
  • Strong teamwork skills.
  • Dedication to maintaining a safe work environment at all times.
