As Sales Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the dealership sales operation, drive revenue growth, and ensure every customer receives an exceptional experience from enquiry through to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to consistently achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximise dealership performance and profitability.
  • Manage the complete sales process, ensuring a seamless and professional customer journey.
  • Recruit, train, and onboard new sales consultants, providing ongoing coaching and development.
  • Monitor team performance and sales activity, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing action plans where required.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, delivering outstanding customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Work closely with Finance & Insurance and Service departments to deliver a complete dealership experience.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, competitor activity, and  products to support business growth.
  • Ensure dealership compliance with all company policies, procedures, and manufacturer standards.

About You

  • Previous experience as an Automotive Sales Manager is essential.
  • Experience within a franchise dealership environment is essential.
  • Proven ability to lead successful sales teams and deliver strong sales performance.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills.
  • Excellent negotiation, closing, and customer relationship skills.
  • High level of professionalism with a customer-first mindset.
  • Strong understanding of dealership sales processes, CRM systems, and reporting.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Current and valid driver’s licence.
