About the role

Super Safe Scaffolds is seeking a dedicated Yardsman & Maintenance Team Member to join our growing company in Bayswater North, VIC. This full-time role is responsible for maintaining the safe and efficient operation of our scaffolding yard and equipment.

What you'll be doing

  • Ensuring the scaffolding yard is well-organised and materials are readily available

  • Conducting regular maintenance and safety checks on all scaffolding equipment

  • Coordinating the safe loading and unloading of scaffolding materials and equipment

  • Reporting any equipment issues or safety concerns to management

  • Maintaining a clean and tidy work environment

  • Providing support to the wider maintenance team as required

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience in a maintenance, handyperson or yardsman role, preferably within the construction or scaffolding industry

  • Strong practical skills and mechanical aptitude

  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

  • A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to get the job done

  • Forklift license and experience would be highly regarded
