ROLE SUMMARY

The main responsibilities for the gardener/maintenance labourer will be completing general grounds maintenance for landscape projects with duties including but not limited to:

  • weeding, mulching, planting and general maintenance,

  • mowing and whipper snipping,

  • planting and staking trees

  • maintaining watering schedules as required (truck jockey),

  • work as part of a team and take direction,

  • litter collection,

  • any other maintenance duties as required,


SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Excellent communication skills,

  • Ability to perform all assigned tasks and meet deadlines,

  • Be physically fit and able to conduct manual tasks,

  • Awareness of working around vehicles and traffic,

  • Motivated and self-driven,

  • Valid Victorian driver's licence (manual licence advantageous),

  • Knowledge and experience with all aspects of gardening and maintenance,

  • Proactive and reliable,

  • MR/HR Licence highly advantageous,

  • White Card essential.
