Design and deliver electrical solutions for a leading manufacturer in this office-based project role. Training to become a RPEV will be provided.  

  • Lead technical projects from concept to completion while managing non-standard product designs for major power sectors.
  • Influence the standard product range and drive engineering improvements within a collaborative manufacturing environment.
  • Work autonomously with the authority to approve drawings in a dedicated onsite team based in the company office.

Who You Are

  • You must hold an Electrical Engineering Degree.
  • You possess three to five years of design experience within the high voltage power sector or electrical manufacturing.
  • You have a deep understanding of Australian standards such as AS 3000, AS 61439, and AS 2067 alongside AutoCAD skills.
  • You are a self-driven professional comfortable working full-time from the office to collaborate directly with production teams.
What You Will Be Doing
  • Creating and modifying electrical schematics, single line diagrams, and comprehensive engineering design packs for production.
  • Managing the full lifecycle of electrical projects including the preparation of technical specifications and project documentation.
  • Leading the development and review of standard product designs while maintaining all safety in design documentation.
  • Attending regular production and engineering meetings onsite to ensure the quality and accuracy of all manufacturing job packs.
