Job Description
  • Assist in the design, assessment and optimisation of solar PV and battery energy storage systems (BESS).
  • Conduct site assessments and collect technical information for system design and project implementation.
  • Prepare and review technical drawings, system layouts, specifications and engineering documentation.
  • Evaluate system performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reliability and energy output.
  • Provide technical support to installation teams regarding system configuration, equipment selection and operational requirements.
  • Assist in troubleshooting technical issues arising during commissioning, operation and maintenance activities.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, contractors and project stakeholders to support project delivery and compliance requirements.
  • Ensure projects comply with relevant Australian Standards, safety requirements and industry regulations.
  • Research and evaluate emerging solar and battery technologies to support the Company's business growth and market expansion.

Requirements

  • Relevant qualification in Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering or a related field.
  • At least two years of relevant experience in solar PV systems, battery storage systems, renewable energy projects or a related engineering environment.
  • Experience in solar system design, technical assessment, project delivery, system performance monitoring or operational support.
  • Knowledge of solar PV technologies, battery storage systems, inverters and renewable energy solutions.
  • Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
