About Us

We are an Architectural sheet metal manufacturing company located in Thomastown. We are looking for a reliable, hands-on Process Worker with a valid forklift license to join our workshop floor and keep our production moving.

The Role

You will be working directly on the workshop floor, handling sheet metal and supporting our machine operators and fabricators. This is a physical, hands-on role in a busy industrial manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Loading and unloading delivery trucks and moving sheet metal stock around the workshop using a forklift.

  • Manually handling, lifting, and sorting sheet metal parts.

  • Loading material into and taking off parts from manufacturing machinery (e.g., punch presses, lasers, or guillotines).

  • Deburring and cleaning up metal components as required.

  • Packing, strapping, and wrapping finished sheet metal products securely for transport.

  • Assisting tradespeople and machine operators with general workshop duties.

What We Are Looking For

  • Forklift License: A current and valid Forklift (LF) license is essential.

  • Workshop Experience: Previous experience working in a sheet metal, engineering, or heavy manufacturing environment is a plus.

  • Physical Fitness: This is a highly physical role. You must be comfortable with heavy lifting, manual labor, and being on your feet in a standard workshop environment.

  • Reliability: We need someone who turns up on time, works hard, and is ready to get their hands dirty.

  • Team Player: Ability to take direction from the workshop manager and work alongside our fabrication team.

  • Work Rights: Valid rights to work in Australia.

Why Join Us?

  • Consistent hours with opportunities for overtime when the workshop is busy.

  • On-site parking.

  • Straightforward, no-nonsense workshop team.

  • Long-term opportunity for the right person who puts in the effort.
