Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of major industrial projects, we are seeking experienced Industrial Electricians to join our growing team in a full-time capacity.
Based primarily on a major project in Melbourne's Western and South Eastern Suburbs, this role offers the opportunity to work on large-scale industrial automation systems, with ongoing work across future projects as Jarlam Electrics continues to expand.

About The Role
Working as part of our Electrical and Automation team, you will be responsible for the installation, testing and commissioning of electrical systems supporting advanced manufacturing and warehouse automation projects.
The ideal candidate must have the ability to liaise with clients, work within a team and have a good grasp on Industrial practices.
Tasks & Responsibilities
Installation of industrial electrical equipment, including automated conveyor systems, robots and manufacturing equipment.
Installation and termination of power, control and communications cabling.
Installation of cable tray, conduit and cable support systems.
Electrical fit-out of control panels, field devices and associated equipment.
Installation of motors, sensors, safety devices and field instrumentation.
Point-to-point testing and I/O verification.
Assisting with electrical and automation commissioning activities.
Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics.
Diagnosing and rectifying installation defects.
Completing testing documentation and commissioning checklists.
Updating red-line as-built drawings where required.
Working closely with project managers, automation engineers and mechanical installation teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Maintaining a strong commitment to quality workmanship and workplace safety.
Qualifications & Experience
Current A Grade Electrical Licence.
Minimum 3 years' experience in industrial electrical installation.
Experience working on manufacturing, warehousing or automation projects.
Experience terminating power, control and communications cabling.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
Experience with motor installations and industrial control equipment.
Current White Card.
Ability to work both independently and within a project team.
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
