About us

Energy Power Systems Australia (EPSA) is the Cat® engine dealer for Australia, Papua New Guinea and the Solomon Islands. EPSA sells and rents Cat® engines and also designs, engineers and commissions a range of turnkey products and applications. 

Based in Mulgrave, VIC, EPSA has a growing team providing local support and looking to expand further into the Mulgrave region (National Coverage). This role is for a 5&2 Monday to Friday (plus overtime) roster with great autonomy whilst having the backing of local Cat® support.

You will have a strong electrical background in power generation to enable you to effectively troubleshoot and repair our rental fleet for key clients. Competitive salary package offered including super, service vehicle, mobile phone, iPad and laptop.

Qualifications & experience

  • Electrical qualification and License (A grade).

  • Forklift and Drivers Licence.

  • Demonstrated electrical experience in maintaining and repairing diesel/gas power generation equipment.

  • Refrigeration/Mechanical experience an advantage.

  • High level organizational and communication skills – written and verbal.

  • Ability to work autonomously.

  • Strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • The installation of Power, Compressed Air and Temperature Control equipment on site and associated services.

  • Minor overhauls (where possible or applicable within Australian Standards and company policy).

  • Operation of forklift at branch.

  • Connecting generators / Temperature control units for load testing.

  • Ensuring compliance with legislative safety requirements.

  • Monitoring and ordering of fleet spares and consumables as required.

  • Participation in an On-Call Roster.
