About the role

Launch your engineering career with hands on manufacturing. We are looking for a driven individual to transform raw materials into meticulous components using cutting edge technology. Learn on the job and build a solid foundation for your future.

Key responsibilities

  • CNC Machining in the fields of turning, milling, slotting, drilling and boring

  • Programming and setting up machines

  • Drilling, ancillary duties, grinding, pedestal grinding, some painting, welding and sheet metal work

  • Overhead crane/forklift use

  • Assembly and fitment of industrial gearboxes

  • How to read BOM’s and technical assembly drawings

  • Product testing and report for QA

  • Manufacturing quality parts

Skills & experience

  • A genuine interest in an engineering/manufacturing career

  • A willingness to learn

  • Ability to work in a team environment

  • Ability to follow & adhere to polices & procedures

  • High level of attention to detail with good organisational skills

  • Ability to handle pressure

  • Geometry and math skills

  • Practical application and mechanical aptitude

  • Car & licence

  • Australian citizenship is essential
