About the Clinic
Reservoir Vet Clinic has cared for pets and their families in Melbourne’s north for many years. We are a close‑knit team of 3 veterinarians, 5 veterinary nurses, and a dedicated Practice Manager, based at 226 Spring Street, Reservoir. Our clinic offers small animal medicine, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, and preventative care, all delivered with a focus on compassion, teamwork, and client relationships.
About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Vet Nurse to join on a part‑time basis, working Mondays and Fridays, with the third day preferably a Tuesday (flexible).
What you’ll be doing
- Supporting veterinarians across anaesthesia, surgery, patient care, and nurse consults
- Providing high‑quality patient care and monitoring before, during, and after procedures
- Assisting with dentistry, including dental radiography
- Supporting diagnostics and in‑house pathology
- Reception and client support, including patient admissions and client communication
- General nursing duties across a varied small animal caseload
- Enjoying a weekday‑only roster with no weekends or public holidays
What we’re looking for
- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent)
- Minimum 1+ year of clinical veterinary nursing experience
- Confidence across general nursing duties, including anaesthesia and surgical support
- A genuine love for animals and the people who care for them
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- A positive, team‑first attitude and a great sense of humour
